This feeder is ideal for a few hens (4-10) or a batch of growers (up to 18). It would also be suitable for quails and ducks.
The principle behind the feeder is that it displays a small amount of feed, which is replenished automatically from the central column.
Due to this principle there is no need to refill daily, we have found that this saves a lot of time, especially if you have a few batches.
The feeder twists and locks into place and comes apart for ease of cleaning. It also has an anti waste grid at the bottom to reduce the wastage from the flicking of food. We have found this to reduce the amount of food consumed greatly, the feeder will pay for itself many times over
